Hock E. Tan
President & CEO
Mr. Tan has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer and a director since March 2006. From September 2005 to January 2008, he served as Chairman of the board of directors of Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (“IDT”). Prior to becoming chairman of IDT, Mr. Tan was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. (“ICS”), from June 1999 to September 2005. Prior to ICS, Mr. Tan was Vice President of Finance with Commodore International, Ltd. from 1992 to 1994, and previously held senior management positions with PepsiCo, Inc. and General Motors Corporation. Mr. Tan served as managing director of Pacven Investment, Ltd., a venture capital fund in Singapore from 1988 to 1992, and served as managing director for Hume Industries Ltd. in Malaysia from 1983 to 1988. Mr. Tan’s qualifications to serve on the Board include his role as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, his extensive career in the technology industry in general and in the semiconductor industry in particular, including service as the chairman of the board of directors of a publiclytraded semiconductor company, and his extensive knowledge of the Company’s business developed over the course of his career at our Company.
Kirsten Spears
CFO & Chief Accounting Officer
Kirsten Spears is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer at Broadcom, overseeing all financial functions. Ms. Spears previously served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at Broadcom from May 2014 to December 2020 and prior to that was Vice President and Corporate Controller at LSI. She joined LSI in September of 1997 and held a number of management positions in accounting and reporting before becoming the Corporate Controller in 2007. Before LSI, Ms. Spears worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in audit; for Raychem, managing a variety of accounting functions; and for Bank of America, managing branch operations. Ms. Spears holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

Alan Davidson
CIO
Alan Davidson is Chief Information Officer of the Global Technology Organization at Broadcom. In this role, he is responsible for the continuous evolution of the technology landscape, e-business application suite, and hardware and software product hosting. Mr. Davidson has held a variety of key leadership positions during his lengthy tenure at Broadcom and its legacy companies HP, Agilent and Avago, overseeing Enterprise Infrastructure, Data Center management, Software product hosting, SaaS Operations, Customer Support Platforms, Fab applications, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, among others. Charlie Kawwas
President, Semiconductor Solutions Group
Charlie Kawwas is Chief Operating Officer at Broadcom, overseeing the company’s global operations, as well as sales for the Semiconductor and Brocade Storage Networking businesses and corporate marketing for all of Broadcom. Prior to this role, Dr. Kawwas served as Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Broadcom from June 2015 to December 2020. Dr. Kawwas joined the company through the LSI acquisition where he was head of worldwide sales. Previous positions at LSI include Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the networking division and Vice President of Marketing for the networking and storage products group. Dr. Kawwas was awarded Alumnus of the Year for 2020 by Concordia University.

Mark Gonikberg
SVP & GM, Wireless Communications & Connectivity Division
Mark Gonikberg is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Wireless Communications and Connectivity Division. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and navigation products. Prior to his current role, he held engineering management positions and led the development of advanced wireless communications chips. Clayton Donley is Vice President and General Manager of the Identity Management Security Division at Broadcom (IMS). In this role, he is responsible for the company’s identity and access software portfolio, which protects and manages access to some of the world’s most mission-critical applications. Mr. Donley joined the company via the CA Technologies acquisition where he was Senior Vice President Engineering for the security business unit. Yuan Xing Lee is Vice President of Central Engineering. In this role, he is responsible for Broadcom’s core technology libraries and foundation IPs. Prior his current role, he was Vice President of Engineering for the Data Controller Division where he was responsible for the engineering developments for the division from architecture to digital and analog design, technology platform, and SoC (system-on-chip). He also held senior technical and management positions at LSI, Hitachi GST, IBM and Singapore’s Data Storage Institute. Dr. Lee earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Xi'dian University, China.
Brian Clayton
Managing Director
Brian Clayton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology industry, currently serving as Managing Director at Broadcom since September 2018, overseeing the complete software portfolio that provides critical solutions for major global enterprises. Prior to Broadcom, Brian held leadership positions at CA Technologies from September 2009 to September 2018, including Regional Alliance Director and Senior Solution Strategist.
