Steve Parker is Chief Operating Officer at Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Parker manages a broad portfolio that includes the F/A-18E/F, EA-18G and F-15 fighter families, the T-7A training system, and the B-1 and B-52 bombers. He also oversees composite wing component work done in St. Louis for Boeing’s new 777X passenger airplane. Prior to his current role, Parker led the Vertical Lift division, responsible for cargo, tiltrotor and attack rotorcraft, including the AH-6 Little Bird, AH-64 Apache, H-47 Chinook, MH-139 Grey Wolf and V-22 Osprey. Before that he was vice president and program manager of the T-7A Advanced Pilot Training program, as well as vice president and program manager of the F-15. Parker’s three decades with Boeing have also included managing daily activities for the company’s largest subsidiary outside the United States, as chief operating officer of Boeing Defence Australia; serving as vice president and general manager of the former Network and Space Systems division, and serving as vice president and program manager of Cargo Helicopters. He also spent time managing Chinook modernization efforts for the U.S. Army and Special Operations Command, as well as all F/A-18 activities in Australia. Parker has a master’s degree in project management from Queensland University of Technology and is a Certified Practicing Project Director. He is also a member of the Air Force Association, the Tailhook Association and a board member of Greater St. Louis Inc., an organization of the top business leaders in St Louis who are working to improve the community and business life of the region.

Chris Raymond is the chief sustainability officer for The Boeing Company. In this role, Raymond is responsible for further advancing Boeing’s approach on sustainability focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities, stakeholder-oriented reporting and company performance. As Boeing’s first chief sustainability officer, Raymond will lead a team that collaborates across the company’s commercial, defense and services businesses and its enterprise functions in support of the company’s commitment to responsible and inclusive business practices and positive global impact for future generations. Prior to this role, he was the vice president of Sustainability, Strategy and Corporate Development (SSCD) for The Boeing Company. Raymond led the team that shapes the company’s future through market insights, strategies and investments for sustainable innovation, productivity and growth. This group was also responsible for long-term planning, partnerships and acquisitions. In addition to his SSCD role, Chris was asked to also lead enterprise-wide efforts in strengthening stakeholder confidence and reinforcing the company’s brand following the tragic accidents involving the 737 MAX airplane. In this capacity, Chris partnered with the Communications team and leaders from across the company to focus on key stakeholder groups insights, including employees, airlines, passengers, suppliers, and other valued partners. Chris Raymond was previously vice president of Embraer integration, where he led the integration efforts for a potential strategic partnership between Boeing and Brazilian aerospace company Embraer. Raymond has also served as the first vice president and general manager of Autonomous Systems (AS), a division within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) focusing on enterprise autonomous aviation and marine technologies, intelligence capabilities and networking solutions from seabed to space. Prior to AS, Raymond was vice president and general manager of several businesses involving integrated missile defense, sensors and signals intelligence, and undersea capability. He also served as vice president of global Business Development & Strategy for BDS, leading a global team focused on customer solutions, partnerships, new business capture and strategic planning. Raymond began his career as an engineer at Boeing’s Long Beach, California, operation. He has served in leadership assignments in engineering, supply chain management, program management and operations. Raymond is an associate fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a fellow in the Royal Aeronautical Society. He has served on the boards of Defense Acquisition University and the National Defense Industrial Association. He holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Illinois, as well as a contract management certificate and a master's degree in business administration from the University of California-Irvine.

Stephanie Pope is executive vice president and chief executive officer of Boeing Global Services, with responsibility for leading Boeing’s aerospace services business supporting commercial, government and aviation industry customers worldwide. Boeing Global Services offers solutions in fleet sustainment, parts and distribution, digital capabilities, training, engineering and modifications, as well as cabins and interiors. She is a member of Boeing’s Executive Council. Prior to this role, Pope was vice president and chief financial officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, from December 2020 to March 2022, with responsibility for the financial management and strategic, long-range business planning for the business unit. Previously, Pope was vice president and chief financial officer of Boeing Global Services, where she oversaw all financial activities for the business unit and was instrumental in its establishment in 2017. Before that, Pope served as vice president of Finance and controller for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, with responsibility for the regulatory compliance of the business unit as well as ensuring the accuracy, transparency and timeliness of its financial disclosures. In her two decades at Boeing, Pope has held a number of other senior leadership positions at the corporate level as well as the program level for Boeing Defense, Space and Security. Pope was an Eisenhower Fellow in Brussels and Ireland in 2008. Dr. Brendan Nelson AO was appointed senior vice president of The Boeing Company and president of Boeing International effective Jan. 12, 2023. He is a member of the company’s Executive Council. Nelson is responsible for the company’s international strategy and corporate operations outside the United States, overseeing 20 regional offices in key global markets. His responsibilities include developing the company’s growth and productivity initiatives outside the U.S., forming new business and industrial partnerships, overseeing international affairs, enhancing Boeing’s local presence and providing global functional support. Nelson joined Boeing in February 2020 and was president of Boeing Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific. He was the senior company leader in the Oceania region as well as chairman of the board for Boeing Australia Holdings. In this role, Nelson coordinated all Boeing activities, led government relations and directed the implementation of Boeing’s strategy to expand its local presence and grow the business. He con-currently served as chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Australia and chairman of the council of the Australian War Memorial. Prior to joining Boeing, Nelson served as director of the Australian War Memorial for seven years, prior to which he was the Australian Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, the European Union and NATO from 2010 to 2012. From 1996 until 2009, he was a member of the Australian parliament, serving also as Minister for Education, Science and Training (2001-2006), following which he was appointed Australian Minister for Defence in 2006 when troops were deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor and the Solomon Islands. He also oversaw major Defence acquisitions, including ships, helicopters and fighter jets. He was elected leader of the Liberal Party of Australia and federal Opposition from 2007 until 2008. A physician by training, earlier in his career Nelson was elected National President of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), becoming the youngest person ever to hold this position and was awarded the AMA’s highest honour, the Gold Medal for “Distinguished Service to Medicine and Humanity” in 1995. In recognition of his commitment to public health, he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Nelson was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in January 2016 for his services to the community, the parliament of Australia, diplomacy and cultural leadership. Nelson has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Flinders University, South Australia. He is the recipient of three honorary doctorates from the Flinders University of South Australia (2011); the Australian National University (2017) and the University of South Australia (2019). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales (2017); honorary life member of the Returned and Services League of Australia (2018); honorary Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing (2021); Rotary Paul Harris Fellow (2001) and Fellow of the Australian War Memorial (2021). Howard McKenzie was named vice president and chief engineer for Boeing Commercial Airplanes in August 2021. He is responsible for effectiveness and efficiency of the engineering function across Commercial Airplanes and leads engineering design, safety and customer support activities for all commercial airplane models. Most recently, McKenzie was vice president and chief engineer for Boeing’s Global Services business unit. Previously, he served as vice president, chief project engineer for the 777 program where he was responsible for product integrity and safety for the 777 worldwide fleet. Also, McKenzie was chief engineer of Airplane Level Integration on the 777 program, chief engineer of Airplane Systems on the 777 program, and chief engineer for BCA Environmental Systems Engineering. McKenzie worked at McDonnell Douglas Corporation prior to his assignments within Boeing. McKenzie graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1988. Brett Gerry is Boeing’s chief legal officer and executive vice president, global compliance, a position he assumed in May 2020 after serving for a year as the company’s general counsel. Gerry is the company’s senior legal advisor and leads Boeing’s Law Department and principal ethics and compliance organizations, including Ethics & Business Conduct and Global Trade Controls. He is a member of the company’s Executive Council, reporting to the president and CEO. Previously, Gerry served for three years as president of Boeing Japan, based in Tokyo. He was responsible for the development and implementation of the Boeing strategy in Japan, expanding the company’s local presence, identifying new business and partnership opportunities, and leading government affairs and corporate citizenship programs. Since joining the company in 2008, Gerry has served in senior positions in the Law Department, including as vice president and general counsel for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and prior to that as chief counsel to Boeing’s network and space systems businesses. Gerry came to Boeing following several senior positions in the U.S. Department of Justice and the White House. His service at the Department of Justice included roles as chief of staff to U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey, acting assistant attorney general supervising the department’s Office of Legal Policy, and a member of the leadership team that launched the department’s National Security Division, where he served as deputy assistant attorney general. Before that, Gerry was an associate counsel to the president of the United States, in which capacity he worked on national security and intelligence matters. He also worked in private practice at Boston-based Goodwin Procter LLP and was a law clerk both at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Gerry earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Colgate University, a master’s degree in political science from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University and the University of Washington School of Law; a member of the board of directors of the Alliance for Education in Seattle; and chair of the industry advisory board for the University of Washington Law School’s Global Business Law initiative.
