The YMCA’s top priority is helping people and communities thrive. The organization achieves this mission through youth empowerment programs. In Nov 2024, the YMCA partnered with Enhesa to create meaningful employee engagement initiatives worldwide. This partnership reflects the YMCA’s commitment to equipping young people with essential skills for the future. [4]

YMCA empowers young people to help them improve their communities. The organization believes social change should come from within the community. YMCA’s global presence enables it to implement initiatives and foster environment of sharing and learning across borders and cultures. For example, young people can rely on the YMCA-Enhesa partnership to develop the skills, confidence, resilience, and self-awareness to secure jobs and thrive. [5]

YMCA aims to be the go-to global organization for youth-led solutions. It strives to empower, inspire, and mobilize young people to create a better world. For example, the YMCA held its 2024 Change Agent Global Gathering in Mombasa, Kenya, to empower future leaders and nurture teamwork.
